
Maes y Wennol is a single storey stone faced dwelling in an area of outstanding beauty situated in the Dysynni valley.
Set within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, at the foot of Cader Idris, the property enjoys stunning views. It is the perfect base for both rambling and hiking with miles of tranquil and interesting public footpaths.
Built in 1994, the property has a comfortable main lounge with open log or coal fire. A large window looks down the valley towards Bird Rock. The Dining Room with adjoining patio shares the same stunning views of the valley. The spacious, modern kitchen with the added luxury of the rayburn overlooks the garden and patio. The utility room contains all the necessary equipment including dish washer, washer and drier.
The house sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. We have two large double rooms - 1 with en suite facilities and 1 with adjoining nursery. The remaining 2 bedrooms are equipped with metallic bunk beds with 2 double beds at the base and single bed on the top.
We have a large spacious bathroom with bath and shower facilities.
The garden area is tastefully designed with secluded relaxing areas with an unique hand carved wooden swing to enjoy the views. The children's area is safe with various outdoor swings and slides and a wonderful wooden tree den/play house.
Car parking facilities available within the boundary of the property making it quite safe.
Maes y Wennol is a rural and peaceful setting with no passing traffic, boasts magnificent views with the popular beaches of Tywyn and Aberdyfi less than seven miles away.

The Site also caters for Camping, Caravanning, a Working Family Farm where children are welcome to help feed the animals with our own private fishing rights on the Dysynni river.
