Welcome to a preview of an unique corner of North Wales - the web site of Cader Idris Holiday at Maes y Wennol.

We live in a picturesque valley in the Snowdonia National Park. Indeed, the truly beautiful Dysynni Valley, with spectacular views of Cader Idris and Bird Rock - famous for it's nesting cormorants.

This is the place for a really peaceful and relaxing holiday. On the other hand it could be a really energising and inspiring holiday, walking or climbing the second highest mountain in Wales with breathtaking views for miles around.

Set within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, at the foot of Cader Idris in the Dysynni Valley, the bungalow enjoys stunning views and is a perfect base for both walking and beach holidays.

The house is only fifteen minutes walk from Castell y Bere, and twenty minutes drive away are the Cambrian coast towns of Tywyn and Aberdyfi, where there are beaches, a cinema and leisure centre. Aberdyfi also boasts excellent water sport facilities. The area is perfect for walking, hiking, and mountaineering, with miles of tranquil and interesting public footpaths suitable for all ages and abilities.
